Manufacturing Day is about partnering in workforce development and education to develop and support qualified people in the manufacturing industry

On the first Friday in October, National Manufacturing Day honors Americans who proudly stand behind manufactured products and services. The American economy is expanding as we keep creating new items and releasing new technologies. Through entrepreneurship, manufacturing companies generate jobs, and their competitiveness fortifies American manufacturing.

The Fabricators & Manufacturers Association is a founding partner of MFG Day, a project of The Manufacturing Institute. In order to progress in modern manufacturing, the Institute develops and supports qualified people in the manufacturing sector. Through skill-training efforts, community development, and assistance with the advancement of their manufacturing careers, the Institute’s numerous activities benefit women, veterans, students, and employees. The Institute serves as a trusted advisor to manufacturers and is the National Association of Manufacturers’ partner in workforce development and education. It provides them with the tools they need to tackle the most difficult problems facing their field.
